Today, Jesus takes His disciples back to an experience that happened 3 years earlier in Luke 5. He used this to remind His disciples that there understanding of returning to their familiar, ordinary lives was not His purpose for them. He had told them 3 years prior that He wanted them to be "fishers of men." Today, He graciously reminds them of this.
